LEARNING NOW tv is a live-streamed Internet tv channel bringing you inspirational interviews, debates and round tables, and advice and guidance on real-world issues to keep you up-to-date in the world of learning and development.
Membership to the channel is FREE. You will be able to interact with us on our social channel during the live stream as well as having a resource of the recorded programmes to refer to throughout the year.
Learning Now tv is run and produced by some of the L&D world’s leading authorities who have many years’ experience of reporting the real-world issues for today’s learning and development professionals.
The founder and executive producer of Learning Now tv is Colin Steed. Colin has some 40 years’ experience in the L&D and publishing fields and is “excited about bringing fresh and inspiring content to L&D professionals”. Colin is Chief Executive of the Learning & Performance Institute and founder of The Learning Awards, LearningLive, and the Learning Directors Network. He is also the architect of the Certified Online Learning Facilitator, the Certificate in Designing Online Learning, and the Trainer Performance Monitoring & Assessment certification programmes.
Nigel Paine is the lead presenter of the channel. Nigel is a change-focused leader with a worldwide reputation and a unique grasp of media, learning and development in the public, private and academic sectors. Nigel focuses on the use of learning technologies, organisational development, leadership and creativity with a spotlight on maximising human potential, innovation and performance in the workplace.
Kim George is a learning and development manager at Getty Images, the global leader in visual communications. With her background as a learning designer and experience in crafting communications, Kim's particularly interested in learner engagement and personalisation. As part of a small L&D team helping to make over 1,800 employees’ jobs easier and more enjoyable, she manages Getty Images' global onboarding programme, ensuring that every new employee is welcomed, connected and inspired. Kim was chosen to be a member of Elliott Masie's 30 Under 30 at Learning 2014 and describes herself as a list-writing language and grammar geek, social butterfly, netball fanatic and travel enthusiast.
Martin Couzins, formerly editor of various management and learning publications, is responsible for much of the recorded interviews and discussions. Martin is particularly well known for his expert curation of news and information about L&D issues via his LearnPatch initiative.
Jon Kennard is also well known in the field as editor of the world-leading L&D online magazine TrainingZone. Jon will be providing interviews for the programmes drawn from the thriving TrainingZone community.
Ady Howes has grown a strong reputation in the L&D industry for his professional video and voiceover work. Ady will be heading all of the graphical and audio content for the channel.
Marco Faccini is an experienced learning professional who started as an e-learning pioneer back in 2001. In 2003 Marco co-invented the el-box™ – the world’s first mobile learning platform, which is still used today by thousands of learners. Marco is now the CEO of a crowd-sourced employee ownership consultancy to aid employers with their learning challenges.
